Universal Dynamics has been supplying a variety of expertise and services to the Chlor-Alkali industry for over three decades. Our engineering and technical know-how is uniquely backed up by many years of actual "hands-on" experience in operating and managing membrane, diaphragm, mercury, and fused salt chlorine cell technologies. Universal Dynamics has designed, operated, and maintained monopolar, bipolar, and integrated sodium chlorate, chlorine dioxide generation, chlorine repackaging and bleach production systems, and hydrochloric acid synthesis systems. Plant Management Services: It is rare to find an engineering company that possesses strengths in actually operating and managing the chemical processes in its core business. Universal Dynamics' personnel have been the plant manager, front line supervisor, plant engineer, and emergency response coordinator for both chlorine and sodium chlorate plants. This practical experience allows the development of process improvements that are grounded in the real world. We develop solutions that work.

High Voltage Power and DC Rectification: Universal Dynamics is renowned for the application of large rectifiers and the design of DC bus work, shorting switches, and harmonic filters.

Process Control Systems: While offering a full range of PID based process control systems and Distributed Control Systems, Universal Dynamics specializes in Advanced Process Control systems featuring our award winning, predictive adaptive controller, BrainWave®. Taking process control one step further is the integration of the plant floor information with automated production and management reporting. A relatively new threat is the protection of the process control system against inadvertent or intentional malicious attack, known as cyber security.
