Business Process Integration

Universal Dynamics is pleased to announce that we are offering a Business Process Integration (BPI) service. The focus of this service is to integrate plant production facilities with business software such as manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) packages.

According to the ARC Advisory Group, integration between the plant floor and the business systems in an organization is 'one of the most critical elements in the unified enterprise'. AMR Research estimates that there is a 30% improvement on the return on investment enabled by data that is trapped in plant production systems. In spite of this, there are many reasons that organizations have spent millions of dollars on implementing business software that is unable to communicate electronically with the plant systems. In a nutshell, it isn't easy. Integrated data flow between the plant and the corporate office requires bridging information, timing, technology and culture gaps.

The Business Process Integration service affords us an opportunity to utilize our existing capabilities and proven track record in production control systems, custom software and plant level integration. Universal Dynamics, the integration service supplier of choice for industrial customers.
